Vignette release notes August 8, 2026
Google sign-in, special offers, payment receipts, privacy controls, and a smoother client booking experience.
New this week
Continue with Google
You can now create an account or sign in with Google. If you already use Vignette with the same verified email address, your existing account stays intact. Connected Accounts also lets you add Google as another sign-in method or disconnect it when another sign-in method remains available.
Learn howUnlimited offer details
Eligible Unlimited customers now see their assigned offer throughout Billing, including the protected monthly rate, trial details, and unlimited storage. Standard Capture and Focus plans also display the current monthly and annual pricing while keeping every Vignette feature available on every plan.
Learn howReceipts that stay with the booking
Clients now receive a branded receipt email after each successful payment. Every receipt also remains available from the booking after the full workflow is complete, with the amount, payment date, reference, remaining balance, and current refund state kept together.
Learn howOptional measurement, with privacy controls first
Vignette now asks before enabling optional analytics and advertising measurement cookies and keeps them off until you accept. Ad personalization stays off. The measurement system strips client names, email addresses, search text, gallery names, and private link tokens. Cookie Settings in the app footer lets you revisit the choice at any time.
Fixes and refinements
Booking steps unlock in the right order
Confirmation, signing, and payment now unlock only after the required previous step is complete. Clients can still see the full journey, but locked steps clearly explain what must happen first and become available automatically as the booking advances.
Learn howMobile booking progression follows the next task
On smaller screens, the compact step navigation now scrolls to the section a client selects and automatically moves to the next required task after confirmation, signing, or payment. Desktop navigation remains stable for clients who are reviewing an earlier completed step.
Learn howPayment confirmations and studio alerts are more reliable
Successful client payments now update the booking before confirmation alerts are sent, reducing stale workflow states and missing studio notifications. Duplicate payment callbacks are handled safely so the same payment does not create a second receipt or alert.
Multi-photo gallery arranging
Dragging one selected photo now moves the entire selected group as a single ordered block. Photos can be moved within an album, between albums, or back to the main gallery grid, with a clearer insertion marker showing exactly where the group will land.
Learn howSharper gallery covers
Client gallery covers now use a higher-quality display image instead of stretching a small thumbnail, improving the first impression on larger and high-density screens.
Learn howContact selection that works with mouse and keyboard
Contact search now keeps keyboard highlighting in sync even during fast arrow-key navigation. Enter selects the highlighted result without submitting the surrounding form, and the search field exits cleanly after a person is chosen across booking and team workflows.
