Billing manages your Vignette subscription. It is separate from the Stripe account used to collect payments from photography clients.
Review your plan
-
Open the account menu.
-
Select Billing.
-
Review the active plan, subscription status, and available features.
During a trial, the page shows how much time remains and the next action needed to keep the account active.
Every plan includes every Vignette feature. Plans differ by storage, not by what you can do.
Every current Vignette plan includes every live feature. Plans differ by storage capacity and billing schedule rather than feature access.
Share your referral link
The Referrals card appears in Account and Billing. It includes your private share link, active referral count, earned monthly-equivalent credit, annual-billing explanation, qualification terms, and progress toward the five-referral cap.
- Copy your referral link from the card.
- Share that link directly with another photographer.
- Return to the card to review pending, qualified, and active progress.
A link visit or free trial does not create a reward. An eligible referral qualifies after the new customer’s first successful paid invoice. The referred customer receives one monthly-equivalent subscription credit, and each active paying referral earns the referring studio a 20% monthly-equivalent credit, up to five active referrals or 100%.
Referral attribution is available for 30 days after the link is opened and works with email or Google signup. The referral offer does not stack with the standard introductory discount. Annual-plan credit uses a monthly equivalent and applies at renewal; taxes may still be due.
Read the current qualification, refund, dispute, and duration terms in the card before sharing the offer.
Open the billing portal
Use the available billing-management action to securely open the customer billing portal. Depending on subscription status, the portal can let you:
Select Manage billing under your current plan or at the top of Invoices.
- Update the payment method used for Vignette
- Review or change the subscription
- Review billing details
- Cancel according to the available subscription terms
Return to Vignette after finishing in the portal.
Download an invoice
Use the Invoices section to review Vignette subscription invoices and open available documents.
Select Download PDF to save a copy, or View to open the invoice online.
These invoices cover your Vignette plan. They are not invoices for payments collected from your photography clients.
Understand subscription changes
Some plan changes take effect immediately; others take effect at the end of the current billing period. Review the date and amount shown before confirming in the billing portal.
If you requested account deletion, subscription cancellation is coordinated with that process. Canceling the deletion request attempts to restore a subscription that the deletion process scheduled to cancel.
Learn what to save and what happens during the 30-day account deletion period.
Understand checkout return pages
After choosing or changing a plan, Vignette returns you from the secure billing page.
- A success page means the billing request was accepted. The final subscription status may take a short time to arrive.
- A canceled checkout means you left before confirming. It does not create the new charge shown in that checkout.
Return to Billing and read the current plan and invoice state before trying again.
If billing status looks delayed
After completing a portal action:
- Return to the Billing page.
- Refresh the page.
- Allow a short time for the confirmed Stripe update to appear.
Do not submit the same plan change repeatedly. Contact support with the time of the action and invoice or subscription details if the status remains incorrect.
What Vignette does behind the scenes
The billing provider, not the return page, is the final source for a successful charge or subscription change. Vignette waits for a signed provider update before it treats the change as complete. This protects the account when a browser closes early or reloads an old success page.
