Delete Your Vignette Account

Prepare your records, request deletion, understand the 30-day grace period, or cancel before the deadline.

Deleting your Vignette account is a permanent action. Vignette gives you 30 days to change your mind before the final deletion begins.

Prepare before requesting deletion

Before you start:

  1. Download galleries, contracts, receipts, and reports you must keep.
  2. Make sure team file handoffs are downloaded and backed up.
  3. Review client payments, refunds, payouts, and your Vignette subscription.
  4. Keep your own copy of records required for your business.

Do not use account deletion as a way to remove one gallery, booking, or person. Delete or archive that item instead.

Request account deletion

  1. Open the account menu and select My Profile.
  2. Find the account-deletion section.

3. Select I want to delete my Vignette account. 4. Read the warning and confirm the request.

Select Cancel if you opened the warning by mistake. Nothing changes until you select Delete my account.

Vignette shows the date when the 30-day grace period ends. It also sends a required confirmation email, even if optional email notifications are off.

While deletion is pending, normal account use is locked. You can check the deletion date, cancel the request, or sign out.

Cancel during the grace period

  1. Sign in before the grace period ends.
  2. Open the pending-deletion page.
  3. Select Cancel deletion request.

Normal account access returns. If this deletion request scheduled your Vignette subscription to end, Vignette also tries to restore that subscription. Review Billing afterward to make sure the plan is in the state you expect.

Understand final deletion

After the grace period, the final process cannot be undone from the app. Vignette removes the account's working data, private files, public links, sign-in access, and identifying profile information.

Some payment and billing facts may need to remain as stripped-down records for accounting, dispute, or legal reasons. Vignette removes or replaces identifying details in those retained records and does not keep them as an active customer workspace.

The cleanup runs in careful steps. If one step has a temporary problem, Vignette can continue from the saved checkpoint instead of starting over or showing a partly active account.

Important: Cancel before the displayed deadline if you want to keep the account. Contact support right away if the deadline or account state looks wrong.
