When clients heart photos in their gallery, Vignette saves those picks for you. Use them for proofing, album selections, or choosing which photos to print.
How clients pick favorites
Each photo in the client gallery has a heart. The client taps the heart to favorite the photo.
After they favorite a photo, the bar at the bottom of their gallery adds two buttons:
- Favorites downloads just their favorite photos.
- Show Favorites shows only the photos they hearted.
A favorites download contains only the photos the client has marked right now.
Open your client’s picks
- Open Galleries and select the gallery.
- Select the Client favorites tab at the top.
- Select All Likes to see every photo anyone favorited. The number shows how many.
- Select a person’s name, such as Emily Carter (1), to see only that person’s picks.
Each photo shows how many likes it has and who liked it.
Save the favorites
On the Client favorites tab, select Download all to save the favorited photos. This is handy when you need the picks for an album design or print order.
Use favorites for proofing or album picks
- Share the gallery with your client.
- Ask them to heart the photos they want, such as their album selects.
- Open Client favorites to see their choices.
- If several people have access, select each name to compare their picks.
When several people have access, each person’s picks appear under their own name, so their choices don’t get mixed up.
Your own favorites
Your picks are separate from your client’s. To mark one of your own favorites, open the photo’s … menu and select Favorite.
Your picks live under the My favorites tab, not Client favorites.
