Vignette brings your client list, bookings, contracts, payments, and gallery delivery into one connected workspace. You can start with one part of the app and add the rest as your workflow grows.
Find your way around
The main navigation appears along the left side of a larger screen and inside the menu on smaller screens.
- Dashboard shows the parts of your business that need attention.
- Bookings keeps shoots and mini-session events organized.
- Calendar shows scheduled bookings by date.
- Galleries is where you upload and deliver photos.
- Packages stores reusable services and prices.
- Storefront is the public page where clients can view available services.
- Contracts stores agreements and templates.
- People keeps clients, leads, and second shooters together.
- Finance, Payments, and Storage help you understand the business side of your work.
Use the search bar at the top of the app when you know what you want but not where it lives. You can search for a client, gallery, contract, tag, album, page, or setting.
Start with these three tasks
- Set up your studio so your business information and branding are ready.
- Add a client so you can connect that person to bookings, contracts, and galleries.
- Create and share a gallery to learn the complete delivery workflow.
You do not need to configure every part of Vignette before using it. For example, you can deliver galleries before setting up online payments.
Understand how information connects
A Person can be connected to several pieces of work. Opening a person gives you one place to review their recent bookings, contracts, and galleries.
A Booking can connect a package, client, location, contract, gallery, team member, and payment plan. These connections help Vignette show the right information without forcing you to enter it twice.
A Gallery can stand on its own or be assigned to a client and booking. This is useful for both client delivery and portfolio work.
Good to know: Removing one connection does not normally delete the other item. For example, unlinking a gallery from a booking does not delete the gallery.
