Your studio is your business identity in Vignette. Set it up before working with clients so your business name, branding, and contact information appear consistently throughout their experience.
Understand what your studio controls
When you create or update client-facing work, Vignette uses your studio information wherever your business identity is shown. This includes bookings, galleries, contracts, client emails, and storefronts, along with other client experiences.
If you have not set up a studio, Vignette attempts to use your first and last name and account email for client communications. This fallback helps identify who the message came from, but it does not create the same complete, consistent business brand as a configured studio.
Setting up your studio gives Vignette one source for your business name, logo, address, phone number, and business email. Update the Studio section when your branding or contact information changes so newly created or updated client-facing work uses the current information.
Open account settings
-
Open the account menu in the top-right corner.
-
Select My Profile.
-
Work through the sections on the Account Information page.
Search for “studio information” from anywhere in the app if you want to jump directly to the Studio section.
Add your profile information
Under Personal Information, enter your first and last name, then save your changes.
To add a profile photo:
- Select the profile-photo area.
- Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image.
- Position and crop the photo.
- Save the crop.
Your profile photo identifies you inside your account. Your studio logo is a separate image used for business branding.
Add studio details and branding
Under Studio, complete the information clients should recognize:
- Studio name
- Logo
- Street address
- City, state, postal code, and country
- Business phone number
- Business email
Use a logo with clear space around it and enough contrast to work on a light background. JPG, PNG, and WebP images are supported.
Before you send a contract: Confirm the studio name, address, email, and phone number. Contracts can use this information to identify your business.
Change your email or password
Use Email to enter a new email address. Vignette sends a six-digit verification code before completing the change.
Use Change Password to enter your current password and choose a new one. If you do not remember your current password, sign out and use Forgot password on the sign-in page instead.
Review connected accounts and notifications
Connected accounts
The Connected accounts section shows available sign-in connections. Connecting Google gives you another way to sign in; Google Calendar access is managed separately.
Notifications
The Notifications section controls which messages are sent by email or text. In-app notifications are always on for important activity.
Changes to account details do not rewrite information already saved in completed documents. Review a contract preview before sending it if you recently changed your studio branding.
